Nebil Oumer's Graduation, 2025
Congratulations to Nebil Oumer for graduating from Cornell Tech with his Master’s in Electrical Engineering! Nebil joined AIRLab in Fall 2024 to develop embedded systems for sensing human-object interactions in Medical Crash Cart Robot drawer compartments.
Nebil's contributions to the Medical Crash Cart Robot project have been invaluable! Well wishes to Nebil in his future endeavors at ASSA Abloy!


Dr. Taylor Appreciation Gift from AIRLab, 2025

New York Academy of Medicine Event, 2025
AIRLab had the opportunity to present our research on robotic crash carts and augmented reality (AR) technology designed to support technical innovation for Emergency Medicine education at the New York
American College of Emergency Physicians Emergency Department Practice Innovations Conference. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our work and connect with others pushing the boundaries of healthcare innovation.

Craft@Large Showcase at Open Studio, Cornell Tech, 2024
Yuanchen (Sophie) Bai co-led the Craft@Large Collective workshops with Niti Parkih, the Cornell Tech MakerLab Director, to engage artists, makers, engineers, and stakeholders from the emergency room, sleep clinic, and long-term healthcare facility to design and build new robots that engage with healthcare workers, patients, and staff with everyday tasks.

Meet Up, 2024
Promise Ekpo, Brian La, and Thomas Wiener met up in Ithaca, NY to collaborate on the MARLHospital project!

BASE Camp, 2024
AIRLab conducted robotics and augmented reality field deployments and a workshop at the annual BASE Camp 2024 event, organized by Weill Cornell Medicine.

AIRLab Space
The AIRLab experimental testbed is up and running! It features an overhead rail system, Vicon cameras for precision 3D motion tracking, and a patient room setup.
